Bloomsday.

50,000 runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes from around the world flock to Spokane’s annual 12K Road Run the first Sunday in May that passes through downtown Spokane and up the infamous Doom’s Day Hill. Hoopfest.

Every June, Hoopfest, the world's largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament, brings 6,100 teams, 140,000 players and fans to 400 basketball courts spanning 40 downtown city blocks and the streets of Spokane. Lilac Festival.

Every September, hungry hoards converge on Riverfront Park for Spokane’s Labor Day weekend Pig Out in the Park - a food and fun extravaganza with great food, entertainment, and arts & crafts.

First Night Spokane.

The year ends and begins with First Night Spokane, a fun, alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration with visual and performing arts in the streets and venues of downtown Spokane.
